I hope your housing search is going well. Available coming up November 1st 2025, will be a lower unit in a Ferndale duplex in a very favorable neighborhood. This unit has a family room, dining room, large kitchen, a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom/office in the back, and 1 full bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower/tub. Kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop gas stove, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The home was already furnished and the furniture can still be available for your use if you need it, so just let me know!
Unit that will be available for rent is the lower unit at 366 College Street, at the corner of Paxton and College Street conveniently located in Downtown Ferndale (South of Nine Mile and East of Woodward Avenue) and close to all the night life and amenities the city of Ferndale has to offer. This location is also very close to all major highways and is centrally located.
The lower unit has access and exclusive use of the basement with a washer and dryer and extra storage space. The basement is not really a livable space, but is good for storage of goods and extra items. I keep stuff down there as well, and if the furniture is not needed, I will store it down there as well.
Parking is on the street in front of the house or along the side of the house in the driveway. The first floor unit gets the use of the driveway and the driveway has been traditionally shared with the unit upstairs.
Small dogs and cats are allowed, but the yard is not really that good for pets so you would have to maintain and pick up the yard if there is a dog living with you. There is absolutely no smoking in the home or on the property at all. This is a smoke free home.
Tenant pays for Electric and Gas. Landlord pays for water.
Monthly rent is $1300/per month. Security deposit is 1/2 month rent due at signing. Security Deposit to be returned to the tenant at the end of the lease minus any damages done to the home. Total Move In cost is $1,950 ($1,300 first month Rent and $650 Security Deposit)
Details: The house is an upper and lower duplex, and the lower unit is for rent. The lower unit is separate from the upper unit and has use of the house and driveway. The front porch is shared by all tenants in the home.
Looking for a minimum of a year long contract or longer.
